Friday congregational prayer
Gather, listen and pray together.
Two congregational fard rak‘ahs after the khutbah, replacing Dhuhr for those attending a valid Jumu‘ah. Listen to the sermon. It is not simply a two-rak‘ah replacement offered alone.
A regular, emphasized practice of the Prophet. Keep it distinct from the obligatory prayer; this Hanafi schedule gives it its own beginning and ending.
