Intention

Standing

Make your intention in your heart for the prayer you are about to offer. With wudu, face the qiblah in a clean place, with the required parts of the body covered. A spoken formula is not required.

Have wudu (ritual washing), clean clothing and a clean place. Cover the required parts of the body, check the prayer time, and face the qiblah (towards the Ka'bah in Makkah).
